History
The ENCSC is a non-profit dance club founded in 1985. Our club is a member of the Association of Carolina Shag Clubs, and organization of
over 100+ non-profit shag clubs stretching from Baltimore to Miami, and pushing further west everyday as the fun-filled shagger’s lifestyle is experienced by more and more people.
Who We Are
The ENCSC is an organization that enjoys, upholds and perpetuates the traditions
of rhythm and blues,beach and shag music, and shag dancing.
Most of our members belong to the 50+ “baby boomer” era, but we encourage and support dancers of all ages to come join and see who we are.
Where We Meet
Currently, the ENCSC “home base” is the Doghouse Tavern located at 506 Second Street, Ayden, NC. Every Tuesday we get together to dance. DJ, music and dancing are
from 6pm – 9pm. Doors open at 5pm. Admission is $5 per person.

Our business meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at
Kickback Jacks, 420 Red Banks Rd, Greenville, NC 27858 at 7:00pm.
If you would like to eat, please come at 6:00pm.

Membership Application
The ENCSC membership fee is $20 per year. If you would like to join our club,
please print and complete our MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION and mail to ENCSC, PO Box 44, Greenville, NC 27835.
