Welcome to the Club
Welcome to the Eastern North Carolina Shag Club.
Whether you are a longtime member or visiting us for the first time, we are glad you are here. Our club was founded in 1985 and has grown into a friendly community of dancers who share a love for rhythm and blues, beach and shag music, and shag dancing.
We invite you to browse our site and enter the fun-filled shagger's lifestyle of Eastern North Carolina.
Our Promise to Members
Good Times
Weekly dancing and a full year of parties: New Year's Eve, Valentine, Re-Up, Fall Fling, Christmas and the SOS weekends at North Myrtle Beach.
New Friends
With more than 100 members over the past 2 years, every person you meet on the dance floor is a potential new friend.
A Voice in the Club
Committees are available for members who want to help plan and run club events.
Dance With Us This Week
Come to the Doghouse Tavern any Tuesday. Doors open at 5pm, and DJ, music and dancing run from 6pm to 9pm. Admission is $5 per person.
Business meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at Parker's Restaurant in Greenville at 6:30pm. Come at 5:30pm if you would like to eat.
Making a Difference
Each year, ENCSC contributes to the TEDI BEAR foundation in Pitt County by giving a minimum of $1,000 and numerous teddy bears for needy children.
It is one of the ways our dancers turn a good time into something good for the community.

Members receive emails reminding them of upcoming club meetings and events, so you never miss a night of dancing.
